“I think I was only mildly ill with Covid when I sent in my instructions.
When I received my instructions I was extremely ill and bedridden.The only act of "hospitality" I could offer was to share my sickbed, and so I offered some space to one of the plants in my room; a cactus
.For a couple of hours over a few days it got better light from the bed than it would have on it's usual shelf. It shared some coffee and water with me which it wouldn't have done ordinarily, and I drew it while we just hung out.“
